Residents, Property Owners and Students (K-12) may obtain access to the Dare County Library's digital resources by using an online-only Dare County Library card number. 

If you do not have a current Dare County Library card, please complete the registration form below, and you will receive a Dare County Library card number and PIN (personal identification number) via email that will allow you to access all of our digital resources.

Applications will be processed 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. 

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to borrow physical items, such as books or DVDs, from the Dare County Library with this account. An "online only" account can easily be upgraded to full borrowing privileges when we receive a parental signature and proof of address in person at any of the Dare County Library's three locations (Kill Devil Hills, Manteo and Hatteras).

We will email you your card number and PIN (Personal Identification Number) during weekday business hours.
