Contact the Register of Deeds office if you are seeking a certified copy of a death certificate for a death occurring in Dare County. 

Marriage Licenses

All of North Carolina's 100 Register of Deeds offices may issue marriage licenses to be used anywhere in the state. The license can be used immediately upon issuance and is good for 60 days. The original license must be returned to the county where it was issued.
