Recently enacted rules governing water use during droughts and water supply emergencies (15A NCAC 02E .607) require water systems that have to prepare a Local Water Supply Plan to create a Water Shortage Response Plan that is compliant with the State guide lines of the above reference NC Administrative Code.

Should a water shortage be declared, the following policy will go into effect.
