Congregate meals are served at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center in Manteo promptly at 12 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays), giving older adults an opportunity to socialize with others while enjoying a nutritionally balanced meal. If you would like to attend the congregate nutrition program, you'll need to call the Tillett Community Center at 252-475-9279 at least 48 hours in advance to order your meal. The Virginia S. Tillett Community Center also provides home-delivered meals to homebound older adults residing in Manteo, Wanchese and Manns Harbor. 

The Baum Senior Center in Kill Devil Hills also provides home-delivered meals to homebound older adults on the beach who are at least 60 years of age and unable to prepare meals or participate in the congregate meals program at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center in Manteo. The Baum Senior Center delivers meals to residents of Kill Devil Hills.
