Julie Dare County DanceJulie Tortelli, Supervisor

Julie comes from a family background of teaching dance. Growing up in New York, her mother, owner of Claudia’s Dance Studio (est. 1963) and continues to give the gift of dance while teaching and establishing values to her students. Julie has the same gift when it comes to teaching. Starting out as a little girl watching her mother, Julie began to acquire technique and style in Tap, Jazz and Ballet. Her passion and devotion makes for a fun and enjoyable dancing environment for the children.


Kymberlee DunmireKymberlee Dunmire, Instructor for Kill Devil Hills

Kym started dancing when she was 2 years old and fell in love. She joined the competition team at her studio at age 6 and continued her dance studies till age 18. Kym started assistant teaching at age 14 and began teaching 2 years later. At age 19, she opened Fast Furious Feet Dance Studio (Ohio), which is still open and thriving today. During her time there she won many choreography awards with her award winning competition team. She has taught ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary/modern, tap, baton, acrobats, and hip hop. She helped choreograph, as well as danced in, the “My Immortal” dance in Dare County Dance’s 2018 recital and is thrilled to be asked to be a part of our team.
