Emergency Medical Services (EMS) staff are stationed at eight facilities throughout Dare County. The public is welcome to stop by any EMS station for a free routine blood pressure or glucose check. The duty crew will be happy to help unless they are out of the building responding to a call. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY – DIAL 911 instead of attempting to make the trip to an EMS station.
