The Land Records office maintains tax maps on all Dare County properties and updates property information to reflect what is recorded at the Dare County Register of Deeds and Clerk of Courts office. The Land Records office updates real property ownership, legal land descriptions and mailing addresses.

Property owners who need to change their mailing addresses on real estate tax records should complete the Dare County mailing address change form. You will need to email, mail or fax this completed form to:
