  • Silent auction opens in the main terminal
  • Dare County Airport Museum opens for tours
    • Harry Bridges will give periodic 10-minute presentations about the founding of the museum.

10:30 a.m.

  • Welcome announcement - Charlie Davidson
  • Aircraft display opens
  • Living history reenactments begin
  • Live music begins
  • Youth activities begin

11 a.m.

  • Dare County Regional Airport history overview - Tony Bruno
  • Food trucks open for business

12 p.m.

  • Civil Air Patrol Base 16 Operations in World War II - Col. Frank Blazich

1:30 p.m.

  • History of VF-17 and the “Kitty Hawk Kid”
  • Silent auction closes and winners are announced

2-3 p.m.
  • Silent auction item pick up.
    •  All sales are final and must be completed by 3 p.m.
